Have you spent a long time murdering eagles and other different avians around the Elden Ring Runes, only to take home a bag that's mostly bird feathers and an entire flock of birds that has flown away? That's certainly been my experience trying to collect the required drops to craft Gold Pickled Fowl Foot, the item most commonly used to increase rune drops. It's logical that they'd be difficult to find, given that they are used for everything from leveling up to purchasing equipment and improving capabilities. But you don't have to do that all to increase or farm your rune drop!
No, there's a much simpler way to do it, if you have an internet connection. Elden Ring features something called groups, where you can make a password so that you only see the vestiges of the people in the exclusive club. Participating in one can provide numerous benefits such as reducing the amount of troll messages that might hinder your enjoyment of the game or accidentally make you die. It all depends on your tolerance and appetite for suffering, higher-quality messages could or might not make a difference to the game. Funny it is believed by some players that the hazing that is shared by all players to be a crucial element of the game. Even though I've been apprehensive about jumping off a mountain in seeking a thing that isn't there however, it is strange to think about what the experience could be without having done that.
What I didn't realize, but, being a part of a group also provides you with rewards whenever you or a member of your group achieves the most impressive feats, such as being The Elden Ring Runes for sale or defeating a Shardbearer. Everyone benefits! In the event of this happening the game will show an alert and your character starts emitting a gold glow, much like it would be if you'd wolfed down a bird leg. You can tell it's active by looking in the upper left corner of your screen; if there's a little yellow claw, then you've received it. You didn't even have to do a damn thing to earn the buff. Nice.
